Alcune delle macchine che vedete qui di seguito sono state realizzate dal nulla, avendo come riferimento solo i disegni dell'epoca. Altre sono state restaurate o riparate e sollevate dalla situazione statica in cui si trovavano da sempre. A tutte è stato dedicato il massimo della cura dei particolari di costruzione, come le viti e i dadi costruiti a mano, i componenti metallici lavorati a mano e i materiali più indicati come vari tipi di legno, rame, ottone, cuoio, corde di canapa varie e tipi di nodi più adatti. Ora tutte queste macchine sono dinamiche, sono funzionanti e interagibili dal pubblico perchè così tutti possano capire e apprezzare le grandi idee di Leonardo.

Some of the machines that you see below have been made from scratch, with reference only to the designs of the time. Others have been restored or repaired and relieved of the static situation in which they had always been. All have been given the utmost care in building details, such as hand-built screws and nuts, hand-made metal components and the most suitable materials such as various types of wood, copper, brass, leather, various hemp ropes and most suitable types of nodes. Now all these machines are dynamic, they are functional and can be interacted with the public so that everyone can understand and appreciate Leonardo's great ideas.
